World of the Film:

Beautiful Demons is a film following Kate, a young adult who is plagued by demon whom only she can see. The short film follows the climax and conclusion of her struggle with her demon: an intervention from her family, an attempted exorcism, and an acceptance of her demon. This film uses demonic possession as a metaphor for chronic illness: Kate's family desperately wanting her to rid herself of it, but Kate herself being unbothered by it except for when it limits her from her daily activities.
